Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie (born November 24 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was previously a politician, as well a television host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor for The Huffington Post, and the co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in the month of May 2021. This was necessary for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. Her guest appearances include on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her further interest in politics due to her experience as a new mother during the 2008 presidential primaries, and watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected those living in Jordan and, as a result, gained an appreciation of the impact that US politics has on everyone around the globe. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was nominated by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1st Congressional District in the 2010 election. She was defeated by Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 to July 2015. In May 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action group working on behalf of Democratic causes.
