Maria Elena Bello

Maria Elena Bello, born April 18th, 1967 was an American actress, producer and writer. Her film credits include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013), and Lights Out (2016). On television, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) as well as other starring roles including as Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013. She also starred as Michelle McBride on the first season of the series Goliath in 2016 and from 2017 until 2021 as the Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the series NCIS. Bello was born in Norristown to Kathy Bello and Joe Bello. [7][8] Bello studied political science at Villanova University. Bello learned to act in a variety of New York theater productions following graduation. Bello is the mother of Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. Bello revealed in November of 2013 that she was having a same-sex affair with Clare Munn, her former partner. She published a book titled Whatever...Love Is a Love: The Truth Behind the Labels We Put on Ourself. (Dey Street Books. April 28 and 29, 2015).
